Two Stories...One Month

Hello and Welcome...

November is known to many people, especially in the United States as the month of Thanksgiving. It also has another event going from the 1st day to the last. The event is known as NaNoWriMo or the National Novel Writing Month.

NaNoWriMo is a contest in which to win, you must write 50,000 words within the month of November. I am doing it this year and actually hope to have the 50,000 done well before the end of the month.

WHY?

Because not only am I working on the story for NaNoWriMo, but I am also editing the re-imagined Gaioterran Rebirth - Hidden Truth. I am hoping to have it published as a regular book and an ebook by May 2020.

The story I am working on for NaNoWriMo is an anthology in the style of Tales from the Crypt, Outerlimits, or Twilight Zone. Its working title is Death Inc.

If you find yourself outside a desolate cafe next to a gas station with no gas prices, in the middle of Nowhere, Nowhen; then your death has caught the attention of Death.

Death as a personification is real. One of the many aspects of death. Death is the ultimate decider. If you arrive at Mot’s Cafe, you have caught the attention of Death and your afterlife will never be the same.

A desert in the middle of Nowhere, Nowhen is the home of Mot’s Cafe and Gas. The Cafe is a 1950’s style diner and gas station. It is a hub for those whose death is not average and needs the personal attention of a death agent or Death itself. Unexpected death, suicide, murder and more are the core of those who visit Mot’s Cafe.

Presently the story has 16 chapters, each chapter is a separate story about someone whose death has caught the attention of Death, good or bad. I am not sure if it is enough to equal 50,000 words but I will not pad the story, especially in a First/Zero draft.

If for some reason I finish it and I am still lacking on the word count. I have a secondary story that I can work on to finish out the remainder of the words.
